ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Claire. I’ve been a teacher for over 20 years, and in that time I’ve learnt that every child’s journey is unique. What I value most is taking the time to really get to know each child as an individual—their interests, their strengths, the things that make them light up. For me, education isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s about finding what works for each child and building on that.
I have a strong belief in a holistic approach to learning. This means looking at the whole child—their emotional well-being, their passions, their sense of safety and belonging—as much as their academic progress. My style is caring, approachable, and empathetic, and I work hard to build relationships where children feel understood and accepted exactly as they are. I know how important this is, especially for neurodivergent children, who so often need the space to be themselves without pressure or judgement.
I am truly excited to be working in this wonderful new setting. It offers something very special—a calming, nature rich environment with lots of opportunities to explore and learn in ways that feel natural and joyful. I can’t wait to see children thrive here, supported in their individuality and encouraged to grow with confidence.
