ABOUT ME
I’m 45 yrs old & only just had my diagnosis for AuDHD. I myself found school a very difficult place to be as It didn’t suit me & what I needed.
Working with children at Move The Mind is such an honour to be part of.
Being able to support children in a natural environment away from noise, electronics & classrooms. Seeing their progress every week & of course them really feeling part of something special & a place to belong.
The farm, animals, staff & children make it an incredible place work.
I have a 7yr old autistic son & a 19 yr old daughter with a chromosome abnormality.
Who I care for as a single parent.
My older brother had Down Syndrome.
My maternal side of the family, such as my niece & cousins have autism or ADHD,
I was diagnosed in October 2025 with AuDHD.
For 10 yrs I worked in a respite centre in Bath for adults with learning disabilities & autism.
I feel I can use my life long experience to support young people that visit Move the Mind learning.
